Quality Controller - Day Shift

We are recruiting Quality Controllers across our Packhouse and Intake departments at our Peterborough site.

• Shift pattern: 4 on, 4 off — 06:00 to 18:00
• Starting hourly rate: £13.70, paid weekly
• Progression: A clear pathway from Level 1 to Level 3, with higher earning potential as you progress

A clear path to grow

Our Quality Controller development pathway provides a route from Level 1 through to Level 2 and Level 3. Progression is linked to developing and demonstrating the skills required at each level, with opportunities to take on greater responsibility and increase your earnings.

Life as an AMFRESH Quality Controller involves:

• Inspecting raw materials and finished products to ensure they meet agreed customer quality and integrity standards.
• Recording inspection findings accurately using paper records and tablets.
• Providing Quality Inspection Reports to our Procurement teams.
• Meeting monthly targets for compliance, accuracy and productivity.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, brings a reliable approach and wants to develop with us.

The qualities we are looking for include:

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Dependable attendance and timekeeping.
• The ability to work independently and complete tasks on time.
• Confidence using Microsoft Excel and Word.
• A willingness to learn, build new skills and progress through our Quality Controller levels.

Previous experience in quality control/assurance is beneficial, but not essential.
