We’re particularly interested in people with around 3–5 years’ experience in a leading strategy or management consultancy who are considering a move into industry, or have recently made that transition.
You may have reached Senior Consultant or Manager level and be looking to get closer to the business, its customers and the decisions that drive performance.
You’ll bring:
- Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to solving problems.
- Commercial curiosity and the ability to understand new businesses and markets quickly.
- The confidence to work with senior leaders, challenge constructively and build productive relationships.
- The ability to turn complexity into clear choices, messages and practical actions.
- Strong project management skills, including planning, governance, risk management and action tracking.
- Excellent written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage colleagues at different levels of the business.
- A hands-on approach, combining big-picture thinking with the willingness to undertake detailed analysis, prepare materials and personally drive actions through to completion.
- A pragmatic, low-ego approach and the ability to maintain momentum through ambiguity and competing priorities.
You’ll be someone who takes ownership rather than waiting for direction.
Experience in food, FMCG, retail, manufacturing or supply chain would be useful, but isn’t essential. We’re more interested in the quality of your thinking, your ability to deliver and your potential.
Why AMFRESH?
This is an opportunity to move beyond advising businesses and experience what it takes to build and change one.
You’ll work directly with the UK Managing Director and have exposure across a diverse group of businesses, senior leaders, customers and strategic challenges. You’ll have considerable visibility, alongside real responsibility for taking work from initial thinking through to delivery.
We see this role as a platform for your longer-term development.
We see it as a development role for someone with significant potential who ultimately wants to become a business leader, not a career strategist.
If you’ve enjoyed consulting but increasingly want to be closer to the decisions, the customers and the results, we’d like to hear from you.
