About The Role
We are recruiting for a Packaging Operative at our Peterborough site. This is a permanent, weekly-paid position providing consistent work, reliable hours, and long-term growth opportunities within a thriving business.

Shift Pattern: Sunday to Thursday Nights (18:00 to 03:00)

Hourly Rate: £16.60 (paid weekly)
As an AMFRESH Packaging Operative, you will:

Check incoming packaging deliveries, verify quantities and quality, and confirm stock against delivery records.

Scan and record packaging stock accurately using the warehouse management system (WMS).

Pick and deliver packaging materials to production lines, ensuring stock is available when needed.

Maintain packaging stores through accurate stock control, labelling, counting and organising returned packaging.

Set up and operate the box machine, offload trays and operate mechnical handling equipment (MHE) safely, including PPTs and forklifts where trained.
About You
To be a successful Packaging Operative, the qualities we are looking for are:
- Experience in a packaging store or warehouse environment is desirable, although full training will be provided.
- Good standard of English and Maths.
- Basic computer skills and confidence using scanning systems and recording stock.
- Strong attention to detail, with good organisational skills.
- A forklift or Reach Truck licence and previous machine operating experience are desirable. Full training will be provided where required.
