SHE Coodinator

We’re looking for a proactive and hands-on SHE Coordinator to support Health, Safety and Environmental activity across our Peterborough site.

This is a visible, site-based role working closely with the Head of Health & Safety and operational teams to maintain high standards, ensure compliance, and strengthen a positive safety and environmental culture in a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and improve Health, Safety and Environmental standards across the Peterborough site
• Deliver inspections, audits, investigations and corrective actions
• Maintain SHE compliance, documentation and reporting
• Promote safe behaviours and embed the Golden Rules of Safety
• Communicate SHE performance and updates across site
• Support food safety, quality and legal compliance
• Act as Site Environmental Champion and support sustainability activity

You’ll be confident operating in a manufacturing environment, comfortable working across teams, and motivated by maintaining high standards and driving continuous improvement.

Essential:

• NEBOSH General Certificate (achieved within the last 5 years)
• Experience in an FMCG or manufacturing environment
• Working knowledge of risk assessments, hazard identification and incident investigation
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
• Flexible approach to working hours
• Full UK driving licence

Desirable:

• Food safety qualification
• Knowledge of health & safety management systems (e.g. ISO 45001)
• Environmental qualification or strong interest in environmental management
